Job Overview

The role of a Strategic Product Manager involves managing and maintaining a product portfolio in a timely and cost-effective manner. This requires close collaboration with key stakeholders within the business and reporting to a senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing forecasts to ensure optimal product availability, balancing customer demand with supply chain constraints.
  • Contributing to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, aligning demand planning with supply chain strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitoring and reporting on inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Escalating supply chain issues or risks to management, proposing solutions where possible.
  • Ensuring all demand planning activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience using data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.
