The hospital plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a large catchment area across regional Victoria.
As a Staff Specialist, you will play a central role in delivering high-level clinical care and contributing to ongoing service improvement and safety initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include delivering expert emergency care, mentoring junior staff, fostering collaborative relationships across departments for seamless patient care, engaging in audits, education, and quality improvement activities, and contributing to policy development and upholding clinical governance standards.
For this position, we are seeking an experienced healthcare professional with the following skills and qualifications:
- Specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable emergency setting
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
- Leadership capabilities in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong interest in teaching and mentorship
