Austcorp Executive Recruitment PTY Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Hospital Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Building Services Engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring plant and equipment maintenance, reliability, and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance team to ensure plant and equipment maintenance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure Work Orders are completed and signed off.
  • Set and manage budgets and expenses for the department.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on maintenance issues, reliability, environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) reports for the team.

Requirements:

  • Technical qualification with broad technical knowledge across the whole spectrum of building services plant and equipment.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer, Shift Engineer, or Deputy Engineer within a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Deliver facilities solutions that include planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities for building fabric, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), specialist services, and systems, and sterilization equipment.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports (as required) covering service delivery, attendance, on-calls, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting.
  • Ensure the Facilities Maintenance Services Contracts are delivered in a safe and professional manner within Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies.
  • Prior experience in managing site's piped medical gases, autoclaves, incinerators, and filtration systems is preferred.
  • A National Police Clearance will be required.
