Cloud Data Insight Specialist Job Overview

As a seasoned Cloud Data Insight Specialist, you will thrive in ambiguity, solving complex data problems and shaping cloud adoption strategies across large technology organisations.

  • Cloud Data Integration: Integrating and managing data from multiple sources, building and maintaining robust data models, ensuring data quality and consistency across reporting assets.
  • Insight Generation: Identifying trends and opportunities for cloud resource optimisation, delivery acceleration, and strategic alignment – both at Group and Business Unit levels.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analytics solutions to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data wrangling processes to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Creating insightful dashboards that track key performance indicators, accelerating decision-making.
  • Producing actionable insights to inform cloud adoption strategies and optimise resource utilisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • 4-6 years of experience in analytics, reporting, cloud operations or a similar field.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and commercial acumen – the ability to understand complex problems and take a structured, data-driven approach to solving them.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, AWS and PowerAutomate; familiarity with Excel and Jira is a plus.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences.
