Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our preschool team.

This is a permanent part-time position, working Thursday and Friday, with close collaboration with the director, staff, therapists, and organisational stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Caring Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children based on their interests and strengths.
Facilitate Group Time
  • Organise group activities, ensuring rooms and resources are set up and ready for use.
Record and Communicate Progress
  • Write daily observations and communicate updates to families, keeping them informed and involved.
Support Families
  • Provide families with resources and strategies to support learning.
Maintain High-Quality Practice
  • Utilise knowledge of National Quality Standards, including the EYLF.
Enhance Communication
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills when interacting with the team and suggesting improvements.
Embed Inclusive Practice
  • Reflect on and enhance inclusive practice regularly.
