Risk Management Specialist Lead

This 12-month project will involve leading the risk management stream for a fund, ensuring required controls are identified, developed and operationalised across the entity.
Your New RoleYou will report to the senior manager within Fund Services. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading aspects of the implementation of the project across the entity by partnering, challenging and advising stakeholders on risk and compliance matters.
- Collaborating with project and business resources experienced in risk management, compliance and project management to support delivery and implementation of project objectives.
- Overseeing completion of relevant milestones within a detailed plan of expected timelines, deliverables, definitions of done, artefacts and governance interventions.
- Engaging in a think-tank environment to proactively identify and promptly solve implementation issues and timelines.
- Providing feedback to the project working group and/or initiative leads, where possible documenting feedback and risks or risk acceptances.
- Experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, internal or external audit, business analysis.
- An understanding of regulatory requirements with respect to risk management and governance.
- Exposure to internal or external audit risk and control identification and testing practices/methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas to senior management.
