Risk Management Specialist

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Risk Management Specialist to support the development, implementation, and management of our risk framework. This role requires a strong understanding of our business and drivers behind current NFR.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess overall risk maturity by analysing survey outcomes, reviewing and challenging Divisional/Portfolio risk management metrics, commentary, and activities.
- Produce reports and regular updates on behalf of Australia Retail after consultation with key stakeholders across the Division.
- Facilitate Risk Working Group and strengthen risk community of practice for Australia Retail.
- Raise awareness and understanding of risk through clear and compelling communication.
- Collaborate with Portfolios to identify opportunities and lead initiatives to elevate risk understanding and maturity.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of risk management practices and behaviours.
- Risk experience or understanding.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to produce reports and support decision-making.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and embedding initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills – writing, presentations.
- Ability to develop training and communications to influence and motivate individuals at all levels.
- Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues.
