About this role

We are looking for a skilled and driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team.

  • Lead a high-performing maintenance crew and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance for draglines and shovels to ensure maximum equipment availability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company safety standards.
  • Analyse breakdown trends and implement preventative solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification and relevant post-trade experience.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid technical understanding of dragline and shovel electrical systems.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding expertise in high-voltage mining equipment.
  • A Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
  • Prior experience supervising maintenance teams in a mining environment (preferably dragline and shovel).
  • The ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing teams.
