Job Summary

Our organization is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operator to join our team and help run a water treatment plant in Morgan. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing treatment processes to deliver safe, clean drinking water to our communities.

About the Position

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with strict quality standards. You will work closely with our team to monitor and maintain plant equipment, perform routine inspections, and assist in the development and improvement of operational procedures and methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate regional water treatment plants safely and efficiently to ensure compliance with drinking water quality guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform routine plant maintenance and inspections, including repair, service, and calibration of plant equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of operational procedures and methods.
  • Assist with ongoing optimization of water treatment processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer skills and software knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
  • Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Water Treatment Plant Operators Certificate III (Water Industry Operator / Water Treatment) or demonstrated operational knowledge of water treatment processes and basic laboratory skills.
  • Ability to work under limited direction.
  • Experience with SCADA systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
