As a General Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing our gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain safe and accessible for our clients.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Green Thumb Gardener to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing garden equipment, including tractors, ride-on mowers, cylinder mowers, push mowers, slashers, and hedgers;
  • Cultivating and maintaining lush gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain visually appealing and functional;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment;
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license (minimum green P's) and willingness to travel between sites;
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and circumstances;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners;
  • Physical fitness and mobility, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in varied weather conditions;
  • Flexibility and willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and public holidays;
