Acute Care Physiotherapy Lecturer

Griffith University's School of Health Sciences and Social Work is seeking an accomplished physiotherapist to join its team as a lecturer in acute care physiotherapy. This role will involve designing and delivering high-quality student learning opportunities, contributing to cutting-edge physiotherapy research, and supporting broader program learning and teaching foci.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality student learning opportunities in acute care physiotherapy
  • Contribute to cutting-edge physiotherapy research ensuring the university's programs remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice
  • Support broader program learning and teaching foci such as simulation, interprofessional education, and cultural safety

Requirements:

  • Doctoral or masters qualification in physiotherapy or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • 6+ years of relevant clinical experience and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field
  • Eligibility for membership of AHPRA as a physiotherapist
  • Demonstrated experience in acute care physiotherapy
