Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Market Operations Manager to oversee all on-site operations at one of our most iconic markets on the Gold Coast.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, creating warm and welcoming spaces for customers, and ensuring seamless market operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a can-do attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-site operations, including setting up and dismantling stalls, coordinating vendors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Create and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of market performance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a customer-facing role or similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
