Salary

The estimated salary for this position is up to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. The permanent part-time opportunity includes 30 hours per week, with 5 weeks pro-rata annual leave.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience and at least 1 year of specialised knowledge in oncology, palliative care, or mental health. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management to the multidisciplinary clinical care services team, including contractors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessment and screening of cancer patients for psychosocial and supportive care needs.
  • Facilitate the delivery of cancer care consistent with evidence-based guidelines and ensure prompt referral to specialist, allied health, and supportive care services.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture across the clinical services team by implementing clear expectations aligned to organisation and service goals and priorities.
  • Manage, implement, and maintain client and clinical databases to maximise clinical system data capture and integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated evidence-based clinical skills in assessment and care planning.
  • Experience in implementation of digitalised systems and processes.
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and multi-disciplinary teamwork skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, public relations, and communication skills.
