Job Description
  • Assist with patient consultations in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centers.

  • Provide care and support for patients with a range of illnesses and conditions.
  • Help with wound care, including applying and changing dressings.
  • Provide basic first aid and emergency care under the guidance of a registered nurse or doctor.
Responsibilities
  • Educate patients on health issues and lifestyle changes, though often with a focus on following established care plans rather than independent counseling.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
  • Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as directed by a registered nurse.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that documentation is up-to-date.
Qualifications

An Enrolled Nurse qualification or equivalent is required, along with registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Aberdovy Clinic offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid annual leave, sick leave, and professional development opportunities.
