The position of Manager encompasses daily oversight of the team, handling client escalations, and ensuring high-quality client service delivery. This role is pivotal in achieving the objectives of Fund Administration for clients in the Asset Management, Life, and Superannuation sectors.

The Manager is accountable for the timely and accurate completion of all client deliverables, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role serves as the primary escalation point for any daily operational challenges that may arise. The Manager supervises a team of up to nine fund accounting professionals, overseeing their performance, providing ongoing training, and facilitating career development.

The team is tasked with producing precise client reports, which include:

  • Fund Unit Pricing
  • Regulatory and Statutory Reporting
  • Account Reports
  • Reconciliation Issues

Key Knowledge Areas:

  • Expertise in Unit Pricing Calculations and Reporting
  • Understanding of Tax Reporting
  • Proficiency in Distribution Calculations and Taxable Income Assessments
  • Integration of General Ledger with Investment Systems

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of six years of professional experience in fund accounting, unit pricing, and custody, with a comprehensive understanding of the full-service model of master custody.
  • Familiarity with financial market securities and a solid grasp of the fund products for which accounting services are provided.
  • Capability to deliver practical and commercial solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience in timely completion of Management Information Systems (MIS) and client reporting, in compliance with legislative requirements and organizational risk management policies.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and effective management skills, with the ability to investigate, resolve, or escalate issues as necessary.
