Project Safety Advisor

Position Overview
As a vital member of our team, the HSE Project Specialist will oversee a diverse range of renewable energy initiatives across the nation. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Implementing and ensuring adherence to HSE management strategies at the project level.
- Providing on-site HSE support to guarantee that health, safety, and environmental standards are met throughout project execution.
- Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with stakeholders to achieve HSE objectives.
- Managing compliance with federal safety standards and international regulations.
- Compiling Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) packages and assisting in the development of project-specific HSE plans.
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring timely delivery of HSEQ documentation.
- Facilitating risk workshops and training programs to enhance safety awareness among project teams.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in implementing workplace health and safety policies and systems.
- Experience in the power, energy, or renewable sectors with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
