About the Role:

As a Senior Safety Advisor in the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) group, you will work with the business to manage and deliver safety-related projects and initiatives. This will involve proposing strategies, researching, planning, project managing, and leading the implementation of safety-related standards, processes, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver safety-related projects and initiatives
  • Propose strategies and research to improve safety outcomes
  • Plan and project manage the implementation of safety-related standards, processes, and practices
  • Lead the HSE group to achieve business performance goals
  • Support HSE contractor management processes

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Health, Safety and Environment or Project Management (or related discipline/demonstrable experience)
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
  • Experience in using HSE management systems and ability to leverage new technology
