We are currently seeking a seasoned in-house legal expert to lead our Legal Team in Sydney on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level legal services and expertise to our Australia and New Zealand Division.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Conducting extensive contract reviews and negotiations;
  • Reviewing and advising on various agreements;
  • Providing expert legal advice on liability and risk identification, allocation, and management;

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in law;
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area (desirable);
  • A current Legal Practicing Certificate;
  • Membership of a State Law Society;
  • At least 5 years' experience in commercial law, including contract law, leases, and debt collection;
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills;
  • A high level of legal knowledge, with a focus on contract law;
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills;
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
