Medical Transcription Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to join our Health Information Management team.
The successful candidate will have excellent typing skills, with the ability to transcribe medical letters and reports with high accuracy and speed.
You will work closely with healthcare professionals to manage document flow and provide clear communication both within the team and with external stakeholders.
The Role- Typing with Precision: Accurately transcribe medical correspondence with a minimum of 95% accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to manage document flow and ensure timely review, correction, and dispatch.
- Support Systems: Manage telephone enquiries, prepare after-hours lists, and continuously evolve your IT systems.
- Communication: Provide clear, friendly, and effective communication both within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Experienced Medical Transcriptionist: Competent with a minimum of 3 years in a medical typing/transcription role.
- Audio Transcription Skills: Previous experience transcribing audio files.
- Self-Starter: Able to work autonomously with a keen eye for detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in the use of computer hardware, Windows-based software packages, and medical practice software.
