Job Title: Experienced Stablehand

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated stablehand to join our thoroughbred training team.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent horse handling skills, including working with young horses and colts.
  • A sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in the safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses is essential.
  • Experience leading a team of staff and managing general stable duties are highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who can work as part of a dedicated team, follow instructions, and demonstrate a positive and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Horse care and stable duties
  2. Leading a team of staff
  3. Safe operation of equipment

Working Hours: Mornings 4:30am - 10:30am. Afternoons 2:30pm - 5:00pm (x3). Excellent pay rates with additional opportunities to earn through race day attendance.
