Job Title: Critical Care Nurse Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, high-quality patient care as a critical care nurse leader.
  • Assess and triage patients on arrival to determine service suitability and escalate promptly for emergency situations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered outcomes and ensure comprehensive documentation of patient data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AHPRA registration as an RN.
  • Previous experience in triage within an emergency department or similar setting preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration, escalate appropriately, and provide critical thinking in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • ICU nursing experience welcomed and previous experience in acute care settings highly valued.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available evenings and weekends, with the ability to work autonomously and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and working effectively as part of a dynamic team.
