Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity

Deliver high-quality care to patients in a dynamic Urgent Care Centre environment.

The Role:

As an experienced nurse with backgrounds in Intensive Care, Critical Care, Coronary Care, or Remote Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of timely, high-quality care.

Working closely with medical practitioners, you will:

  • Assess and triage patients on arrival to determine service suitability
  • Deliver immediate front-line clinical care
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment focused on patient-centered outcomes

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for triaging all patients who present to Urgent Care
  • Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
  • Act promptly for any triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for the dynamic Urgent Care environment
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
  • Ensure patients achieve desired clinical outcomes
  • Provide essential health education to patients
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly
