Clinical Director Older People S Mental Health Service Leader

  • We are seeking a highly experienced clinician to lead our Older People S Mental Health Service as Clinical Director.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to the Western Sydney population, working closely with Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services and St Vincent s Health Network.
  • The ideal candidate will possess specialist registration with AHPRA, Fellowship of the RANZCP, and experience in Psychiatry of Old Age and electroconvulsive therapy.
  • They should have excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management, negotiation skills, and team building abilities.
  • The role requires participation in speciality on-call rosters to the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the medical workforce, including senior and junior medical staff, across various services such as inpatient and consultation services.
  • Work closely with other medical, nursing, allied health, and ancillary staff within the service and across the organisation, providing a model for behaviour that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
