We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power System Analyst to lead complex power system analyses, maximizing project value and managing technical risks across all phases of renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will develop and implement static, dynamic, and transient models for electrical power systems in wind farms, solar PV farms, energy storage systems, and hybrid generation projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement power system models using software such as Digsilent, PSS/E, PSCAD, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Perform electrical design studies, including load flow, short circuit, voltage profile, and system losses.
- Conduct specialized power system analyses, including harmonic analysis and insulation coordination.
- Lead grid compliance studies, such as voltage control, frequency response, and fault ride-through.
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations, providing technical recommendations based on simulation results.
Requirements:
- PhD or degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
