We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our turf maintenance team as an apprentice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in turf maintenance, working with a dynamic team to ensure the highest quality of our sports fields and open spaces.
The successful applicant will be part of our Open Spaces team and have the chance to develop their skills in turf management, gaining a nationally recognised qualification in the process.
Throughout this apprenticeship, you will rotate through various areas, including turf/sportsfield maintenance and greenkeeping, completing a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management Course at Yallah TAFE. This will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of turf presentation and the necessary skills to excel in your role.
In addition to on-the-job training, you will also complete off-the-job learning opportunities, allowing you to gain formal qualifications and four years of practical experience. You will have the chance to obtain additional tickets such as a Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence, forklift ticket, loader competency, and more.
