We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Golf Course Maintenance Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical skills and experience in greenkeeping activities while completing a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that will involve supporting the Course Maintenance Team with various tasks, including equipment operation, plant care, and course maintenance. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors and be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional golf course experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, and pruning
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participate in the development and implementation of turf management plans
  • Work collaboratively with the Course Maintenance Team to achieve high-quality results
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments for extended periods
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
