Job Overview
TAL is seeking a qualified medical professional with experience in clinical practice to join our team as a Medical Officer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reviewing underwriting applications and claims, providing medical insights and analysis to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely reviews and provide feedback on individual underwriting applications and claims related to medical factors.
- Offer efficient recommendations concerning medical information, considering customer experience, regulatory compliance, and business requirements.
- Support liaison with treating parties and reinsurers on specific cases when required.
- Represent the Medical Team in business engagements with assigned business units.
- Provide insights and data on health-related factors observed during medical reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Engage effectively with TAL's Chief Medical Officer on complex medical matters and consult with external medical specialists when necessary.
- Analyse medical data to support pricing assumptions when required.
