Paediatric Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an integral member, you will work closely with children aged 0-16 who present with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Sensory Challenges, Social and Emotional Challenges, Developmental Delays, and Learning Difficulties.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualised therapy and support to each child, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • You will conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, informing the development of tailored intervention plans.
  • In collaboration with parents, carers, and other professionals, you will work together to achieve positive outcomes and enhance the child's overall well-being.

This role requires a deep understanding of child development, occupational therapy principles, and current best practices. You must possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience when working with children and families.

Key Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant field
  • Current registration with the relevant professional association
  • Experience working with children with complex needs
  • Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
