The role of a Spray Painter is crucial in ensuring vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition. As a skilled trade qualified professional, you will be responsible for colour matching and painting vehicles after preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Colour match and mix paints as required
  • Maintain a comprehensive colour library
  • Prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements
  • Buff and denib vehicles to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Handle all vehicles with care and attention to detail
  • Note any additional paint work required beyond the quoted scope
  • Report any old damage or substandard previous repairs to the production manager
  • Clean work bays and workshop areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Coach apprentices when required to ensure knowledge transfer and skills development

About You:

  • You must be a trade qualified Spray Painter with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Strong commitment to working safely and adhering to quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work
