Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Restructuring and Insolvency team in Sydney.

This role involves playing a key role on high-profile, complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters as well as insolvency-related litigation for insolvency practitioners, ASX listed corporations, investment banks, private equity and funders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial and client-focused approach to delivering legal advice, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

They will also be comfortable mentoring and training junior lawyers and have 7+ years' experience in Restructuring & Insolvency within a private practice environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality legal advice with a commercial and client-focused outlook
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and achieve shared outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of business strategy and growth initiatives
  • Mentor and train junior lawyers to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience in Restructuring & Insolvency within a private practice environment
  • Strong commercial and client-focused approach to delivering legal advice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable mentoring and training junior lawyers
