Elderly Care Specialist

Eldercare prioritises delivering exceptional care and support to older adults in South Australia.
This role involves providing high-quality, individualised care to residents with complex clinical needs such as wound management and pain control.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled nurse who can oversee the delivery of services within our residential facility.
The responsibilities of this position include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, documenting care outcomes, and coordinating resident care.
Nurses will apply advanced skills to manage complex care needs and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
Collaboration with the Clinical Care Manager is essential for making key clinical decisions.
The successful applicant will also guide and support other nurses and healthcare professionals in resident care.
This role requires a strong commitment to upholding best-practice care standards and adhering to National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses and Aged Care regulations.
Possessing excellent clinical knowledge and skills, along with experience working in aged care, is crucial for success in this role.
Fostering meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues through compassionate care and effective communication is vital.
Requirements:- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with at least 6 months postgraduate experience.
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience of at least 6 months as a Registered Nurse within the Aged Care sector.
