Environmental Remediation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team at Greencap. As a key member of our Melbourne office, you will be responsible for designing and implementing remediation solutions for contaminated sites across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive environmental site assessments and analyze data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water.
- Design and implement remediation solutions, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, including Validation ESAs and RAPs, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with technical specialists and auditors to develop effective remediation measures.
- Mentor junior staff, assisting with project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of the local team and promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
About You:
You are a motivated professional with over 3 years of experience in contaminated site remediation. You possess solid knowledge of soil and groundwater contaminants and experience with remediation strategies. You are familiar with WHS regulations and have hands-on experience in a similar role.
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields. You have a current Australian Driver's Licence and are familiar with local regulations on contaminated sites. You are keen to develop your skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
