Job Title: Rates Officer

Description:

This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop skills in local government operations.

The Rates and Revenue team is responsible for various tasks, including processing sale/transfer notices, changes of address, calculating and processing pensioners rebates, investigating returned Rates Notices, issuing rates notices, amending accounts domestic waste services, and invoicing sundry debts.

In this role, you will be part of a multi-skilled team and have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A Higher School Certificate level education or TAFE equivalent, or proven experience in a similar position.">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.">
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a small team.">
  • Proficiency in database maintenance.">
  • Prepare routine correspondence and reports.">
  • Demonstrated experience in customer communication.">
  • Experience in local government is desirable.">
