Foster Care Manager

The RoleThe Foster Care Manager will work with clients from targeted care packages, general home-based care, and therapeutic home-based care programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Direct casework with children, their families, and carers
- Case management duties
- Facilitating contact between children and their families
- Liaising with external agencies and professionals
- Participating in staff meetings and supervision
- Attending Professional Development opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, welfare, or a related field
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Ability to prepare written reports and maintain records
- Strong case management skills, including conflict resolution and assessment planning
