About This Role

Bialik College seeks a dedicated professional to develop and implement an alumni engagement program. The role will support the College's Strategic Plan and Advancement Strategy.

This part-time position involves working two days a week during school term time only. The successful candidate will commence as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a yearly strategic plan for alumni engagement
  • Maintain relationships with key alumni from each graduating year
  • Facilitate an alumni committee to assist with the development and rollout of the strategic plan
  • Manage alumni reunion programs
  • Update records with alumni information and source missing data
  • Manage social media accounts and communications
  • Build profiles in the broader community and school community
  • Develop a mentoring program for mutual benefit to current and former students
  • Support careers events by sourcing alumni presenters
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Well-developed office software skills
  • Experience with relationship-management databases preferred
  • Basic budget management skills
  • Event management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to work effectively in a school environment and internal team
  • Excellent time management, administration, and organisational skills
