About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and result-driven team who are dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential. As a Youth Employment Coach, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of young people and providing intensive, individual pre-employment support
  • Actively engaging with employers and young people to develop job plans and secure employment outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining strong links with local businesses, education, and training providers
  • Providing guidance and support to young people to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to secure and maintain employment

Key Responsibilities

As a Youth Employment Coach, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting initial assessments and developing individualized plans to support young people in achieving their employment goals
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to young people to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to secure and maintain employment
  • Collaborating with employers and other stakeholders to develop job opportunities and secure employment outcomes
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of support provided to young people and making adjustments as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with disengaged young people and a proven track record of achieving successful employment outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving results and meeting performance targets
  • Knowledge of the employment and education sectors, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing young people
