Job Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent position located in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, reporting directly to the Team Leader of Inventory and Planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate national inventory planning activities for a nominated product portfolio.
  • Manage master data related to products and suppliers.
  • Provide regular reports on portfolio performance, variance forecasts, and inventory stock targets.
  • Manage inventory, slow-moving stock, quarantined items, and obsolete stock.
  • Prepare shipping plans and forward purchase orders.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date product and supplier data are maintained.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an end-to-end Inventory Analyst role with responsibility for planning, forecasting, and purchasing.
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of international shipping and inventory management.
  • A highly analytical mindset with a result-oriented focus.
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics and/or business-related discipline are preferred.
