Nurse Triage Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team in Canberra.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Australians by providing high-quality patient care services via phone. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, using clinical skills and judgment to assess and manage patient needs.
The role includes:
- Assessing patient calls and providing recommendations for care
- Using clinical governance and care outcomes to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Working with technology and systems to support strong clinical assessment skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration with no limitations
- Superior nursing assessment skills and experience in emergency, acute medical/surgical, critical care, or paediatrics (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Intermediate IT skills, including typing and talking simultaneously
- Availability to work a variety of weekends and early mornings/evenings/nights on a fixed roster
In order to provide optimal patient care, you will need:
- A dedicated private room for your home office setup with minimal distractions
- A reliable internet connection
- An active landline connection
