Cluster Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a cluster of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) businesses in the Central & East Suburbs of VIC.

This dynamic leadership role includes Before and After School Care, Vacation Care, and reports directly to the National Programs Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools.
  • Oversee all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews.
  • Lead and inspire your own cluster of teams.
  • Professional training opportunities to ensure your success.
  • Supportive environment leading to successful outcomes.
  • Business tools – laptop, iPad, smartphone, travel allowance.

Critical Skills and Qualifications

  • Past people management experience in childcare is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven past success in management with measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Current VIC Working with Children’s Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver’s license and own car (travel allowance provided).
  • Completed Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent.
