About the Role

The Associate Director leads the strategic direction of the VU Early Entry Program, driving innovation in digital recruitment and loyalty initiatives. Through immersive marketing and tech-enabled engagement, the role boosts student recruitment and enrolments across Victoria University. This is a full-time position at a HEW 10, $137,624 classification, 36.75 hours per week, continuing contract.

Key Duties
  • Provide leadership and management of the development of creative concepts for immersive and experiential marketing activations, coordinating with internal partners and external vendors to bring concepts to life.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to position the VU Early Entry Program as a loyalty-based program.
  • Lead and manage loyalty-based initiatives to enhance long-term engagement and conversion of VU Early Entry students.
  • Manage allocated budgets for staffing, resources, expenditure and ensure compliance with financial delegations, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute a digital strategy to improve reach and effectiveness of student recruitment efforts.
  • Identify and integrate new technologies and digital tools to amplify recruitment reach, improve engagement, and optimize operations while building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven advice to improve the effectiveness of digital recruitment efforts for the area.
What you'll bring
  • Expertise in developing and implementing student recruitment strategies, with a focus on loyalty-based programs and digital engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tools, and technologies, including CRM systems, data analytics, and online engagement platforms.
  • Experience in creating and executing immersive marketing activations from concept to implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets for staffing, resources, and expenditure with compliance to financial policies.
  • Creativity and flexibility to generate innovative ideas to solve complex problems within the role scope.
  • Extensive experience with loyalty-based customer programs or long-term engagement and conversion programs.
  • Ability to provide strategic and operational leadership across functions.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics to track and analyse digital recruitment effectiveness.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop insight dashboards and present reports clearly.
