This is an excellent opportunity to work in a boutique accounting practice as a senior tax accountant with expertise in SMSFs. The role involves preparing financial statements, annual returns, and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSFs.
- Preparing tax returns for various entities including individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSFs.
- Liaising with clients and the ATO to resolve any queries or issues.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of key legislation and regulations, with a proven track record in a small to medium practice. A minimum of four years' post-grad experience is required. You must be a fully qualified CPA or CA (mandatory accreditation) and a registered tax agent. Advanced MYOB AO & XPM experience, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and high attention to detail are also essential.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess:
