Oakleaf Partnership is representing a leading international financial services company seeking a highly experienced Head of HR to lead their HR team for a 9-month fixed-term contract. As a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing the People Strategy to drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR team to drive and support priorities and workflow to achieve business objectives.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to advise on a commercially focused HR People Strategy, influencing key decisions.
- Provide excellent HR services to management and employees across the employee spectrum, including talent management, recruitment, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and employee relations.
- Champion continuous improvement and lead/participate in HR projects regionally and internationally.
- Coordinate and advise senior management on remuneration policies and staff salaries based on external benchmarks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of HR in the financial services industry.
- Experience working for an international SME and in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent people management skills with a development mindset.
- A proven track record in delivering successful HR projects on budget and on time.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to influence different business areas and management levels.
- In-depth knowledge of HR trends and practices.
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to different business needs and a mindset of continuous improvement.
