**Job Opportunity for Advanced Analytics Expert**

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team as an Advanced Analytics Expert. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating advanced analytics solutions focusing on graph analytics, natural language processing, entity resolution, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Performing bespoke analytics on diverse datasets and leading analytics projects.
  2. Designing and prototyping new technologies and tools in a secure environment.
  3. Collaborating with analysts, business users, and IT teams to develop data science products.

Ideal candidates possess:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and other languages like Java or C++ is desirable.
  • Experience with SQL, graph databases, data visualization, and statistical methods including ML, NLP, and social network analysis.
  • Ability to work across deployment environments, including cloud and on-premises.
  • Relevant degree or industry experience, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Australian citizenship and successful completion of pre-employment screening.
