About the Role

As a Logistics Manager at David Jones, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of merchandise to our customers. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage in-store fulfillment, inventory management, and stock loss prevention processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower team members to ensure efficient receipt, ticketing, and security tagging of goods
  • Maintain dock and reserve drop-off areas to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare for high-volume deliveries and manage task rotation among the Logistics team
  • Analyze store reports and investigate stock variances to optimize inventory levels
  • Implement effective stock loss management processes to minimize losses
  • Promote sustainable waste management practices
  • Ensure compliance with Work, Health, and Safety (WHS) regulations
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and inspire the Logistics team to achieve individual and team goals
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a retail environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to multitask, use initiative, and work independently
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
