We are seeking a highly experienced National Operations Manager to join our team at ADM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our national storage operations and alternative export pathway programs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the implementation of ADM's internal operations in Australia, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of efficiency.
- Navigate the ADM's Grain Origination System (GOS) and optimize program efficiency to drive business growth.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring all sales contracts are accurate and up-to-date for the forward export program.
- Monitor inventory positions against forward contracts and coordinate with Domestic Logistics coordinators to minimize risks.
- Understand and align ADM's sales with acquired capacity, mitigating costs and ensuring efficient bulk vessel loading.
- Manage the Container Team and packing agreements, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Provide expertise in export documentation and knowledge of GTA/GAFTA trade rules, freight differentials, and grain quality specifications.
- Assist the Site Managers (internal and third-party) to ensure efficient bulk vessel loading and provide support as required.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop cost models and drive business growth.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in managing national operations in logistics programs. You should have a degree in Agriculture, Commerce, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Key qualifications include:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Awareness of grain markets and agriculture industries.
- Experience in risk reporting and statistical analysis.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Drive to build fulfilling business relationships and maintain key account relationships.
