Job Title: Driver Training and Assessment ExpertOverview

Kinetic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Training and Assessment Expert to join our team. This role is a critical part of our efforts to ensure the highest level of safety and quality operations.

Salary:

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The Driver Training and Assessment Expert will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning programs, assessing on-road driving capability, and ensuring compliance with relevant training regulations and workplace procedures.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for bus drivers.
  • Making sound and timely assessment decisions within specified competency frameworks.
  • Champion Kinetic's Health & Safety systems.
  • Provide additional on-road and other training support to drivers as required.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of industry rules and regulations as well as accreditation procedures.
  • Provide expert technical advice regarding driver capability standards to senior management.
  • Report concerns regarding trainee progress to relevant managers and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Deliver corporate and driver education to groups in a classroom setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • NSW Driving Instructor License (Minimum MR class).
  • TLI41222 - Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (or equivalent).
  • TAEASS412 – Assess Competence OR TAEASS401 and TAEASS402 (or willingness to obtain quickly).
  • Experience with the delivery of HVCBA in NSW.
  • TAE40122 – Certificate IV Training & Assessment (highly regarded).
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
