Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-profile financial restructuring engagements in Australia. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering client engagements, working alongside experienced practitioners to design and implement financial and operational strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess business viability, liquidity, and restructuring options.
  • Support the development of turnaround strategies, cash flow forecasting, and implementation plans.
  • Build and review financial models and prepare client-ready reports and presentations.
  • Assist with accelerated M&A processes, contingency planning, stakeholder negotiations, and trade-on strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports for various stakeholders including lenders, boards, and regulators.
  • Contribute to multiple concurrent engagements and maintain high-quality delivery under required deadlines.
  • Support the development of junior team members and share knowledge across the practice.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or progress toward completion).
  • A minimum of 1 year experience (for Associate role) or 3 years' experience (for Senior Associate role) in restructuring, insolvency, transaction services, corporate finance, audit, business services, or a similar field.
  • Strong skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including preparation of 3-statement and liquidity models.
