Job Title: Plant Operator

Job Description:

Operate a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) to produce high-quality coal. This is a highly skilled and safety-conscious role that requires experience in operating complex machinery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of coal handling plant operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults and eliminate problems
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to train less experienced team members
  • Trade qualifications in associated disciplines are desirable
  • Coal competencies, including an understanding of coal analysis and applicable regulations
  • Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface) and Queensland Open Driver's licence
  • Sound computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs
