Job Description:

As a Mechanical Colo Regional Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the design, construction, and operation of our data centers meet the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with vendors to review and finalize designs for new data centers, incorporating AWS products to ensure they meet our expectations.
  • Act as the resident engineer during new data center construction projects, providing support during commissioning, handover, and operational phases.
  • Troubleshoot site/equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis and creating corrective action documentation.
  • Provide technical support to design teams for existing data center upgrades, focusing on adding capacity, improving availability, and increasing efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission-critical facilities, especially data centers.
  • 6+ cumulative years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission-critical facilities.
