Role Overview

Service Stream is seeking a skilled Meter Reader Professional to join our team in the Adelaide and Metropolitan region. This role involves walking an allocated neighbourhood, taking and recording utility meter readings. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
  2. Uphold Service Stream safety standards and represent the company professionally.
  3. Meet targets and understand their significance.
  4. Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
  5. Regularly communicate with the office support team.
  6. Upload/download route information to/from a hand-held device.

Requirements

  • Hold a current valid driver's license.
  • Have a reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
  • Be willing to learn and work independently.
  • Be able to undertake regular walking, bending, and squatting.
  • Be able to work in most weather conditions.
  • Be available to work Monday to Friday, 25-35 hours per week.
  • Be flexible with daily travel of up to or more than 45 minutes each way.
  • Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail.
